Fury, Frampton and Barnes can send Belfast crowd into raptures

The 24,000 fans packed into Belfast's Windsor Park football stadium should be in for a night to remember with Tyson Fury and Carl Frampton set for impressive wins, while Paddy Barnes is capable of upsetting the odds to win a world title in just his sixth pro fight.

Fury continues his quest to recapture the heavyweight title with a ten-round contest against Francesco Pianeta, who should be a decent punching bag for a few rounds without causing too many problems.

The undefeated Gypsy King didn't look great on his June comeback against Sefer Seferi, but given his journey he was always going to need ring time and he is looking in better and better condition with every Instagram post.

Pianeta is a former European champion who has twice fought for a world title - losing in six lop-sided rounds to Klitschko in 2013 then knocked out in a round by Ruslan Chagaev in 2015 - and he has lost twice since then.

Fury isn't a one-punch KO specialist but he should be far too good so expect him to find a finish once he finds his range.

Two Belfast boxers are headlining the show, but although featherweight Frampton is a huge favourite to beat Luke 'Action' Jackson, Paddy Barnes is a 2-1 underdog to beat Cristofer Rosales.

Frampton has been involved in a gruelling series of fights over the last few years - his last six have gone the distance - but Jackson looks a far lower grade to those opponents.

Jackson has never fought outside Australia before and could be a rabbit in the headlights, although as he has never fought anywhere near this level it's difficult to know how he will cope.

What's not in doubt is that Frampton is genuinely world class, and the feeling is that he could blast out Jackson sooner rather than later.

Sandwiched in between Fury and Frampton, double Olympic bronze medallist Barnes takes on world champ Rosales despite just five fights on his record.

Relentless puncher Rosales has more experience, is lightning quick and is known to be supremely fit, but he has lost on both of his previous visits to the UK to Kal Yafai and Andrew Selby.

Barnes is well prepared for the challenge and, roared on by thousands of his countrymen, he has the talent to take the belt.
