A busy weekend of boxing could see a new UK-based world champion with the headline fight undoubtedly Northern Ireland’s Carl Frampton taking on WBA super world featherweight champion Leo Santa Cruz at the Barclays Centre, Brooklyn, New York early tomorrow morning.
The Jackal hasn’t been in action since unifying superbantamweight titles in February with his points decision over Scott Quigg, but has given up his belts to step up in weight tonight.
