All eyes on Paris for a wide-open Arc after Group 1 action takes place at Newmarket
Your full rundown of what to look forward to in the racing world this week

Monday
Last season's Champion Hurdle fifth King Of Kingsfield bids to make it three wins from four starts over fences in the Grade 3 Ballymore Group Irish EBF Kilbegnet Novice Chase (4.35) at Roscommon.
There is British interest in the Listed Grand Criterium de Bordeaux - Prix du Hong Kong Jockey Club (2.57) courtesy of the Michael Bell-trained Suspended Sentence, who goes for a hat-trick at Bordeaux Le Bouscat after wins at Ripon and Sandown.
Apiary makes his debut in the colours of Harry Redknapp in Down Royal's feature juvenile fillies' maiden (3.14) for trainer Kevin Coleman.
Eat Run Pray has a very strong chance of providing Joseph O'Brien with his first winner at Hamilton in the 5f maiden (1.50), a match race against Supremissy. Eight-time course winner Uncle Dick runs (3.55) at Brighton for the first time since landing the Brighton Mile Challenge Trophy for a second time last month.

Breaking Cover bids to confirm last month's course-and-distance win over Centara in the opening race (1.56) at Newton Abbot.
Rose Of Honour, who made a successful debut at Kempton for James Tate and Saeed Manana, looks the standout runner on Southwell's evening all-weather card.
Tuesday
Joseph O'Brien has trained three of the last seven winners of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Navigation Stakes (4.15) and he relies solely on Cadogan in the Cork Listed race.
Item is entered in Doncaster's Futurity Trophy Stakes, but will get some turf experience before that potential Group 1 assignment in Bath's feature mile novice (4.22). The Andrew Balding-trained son of Frankel is penalised for his Kempton win along with Clive Cox's fellow successful debutant Blue Courvoisier.
Ayr and Newcastle host Flat fixtures while Dartmouth Castle returns to the course and distance of his eight-length victory in May in Sedgefield's bumper (4.37)
Wednesday
Jesse Evans could make his first appearance since finishing second in the Galway Plate in Sligo's 2m5f chase (4.43).

Dragon Of Malta won on back-to-back days at Listowel's harvest festival last week and he is entered in Bellewstown's mile handicap (2.48).
Bumpy Evans won at Warwick last Tuesday, his first race for Kerry Lee since she bought him for £60,000 from Tim Vaughan, and the seven-year-old could return to the track under a penalty in the limited 2m4f novice handicap chase (3.15).
Empirestateofmind reached a peak rating of 101 but he could run in selling company (3.30) at Musselburgh, having been beaten a neck in that grade at Chester last time.
Alice Keighley rode Polam Lane to win the 5f handicap for amateur riders at Catterick in 2022, and she has been booked by the trainers of that winner, David and Nicola Barron to partner Doralee in the same race (1.58).
Ebor festival winner Trefor disappointed in the Portland last time but could bid to bounce back on a potential first all-weather start since September 2023 in Kempton's feature conditions race (6.30).
Thursday
Nottingham hosts five series finals worth £30,000 apiece, while National Stakes runner-up First Legion features in the entries for Salisbury's £25,000 conditions race (3.17). Bellewstown also stages a Flat turf fixture.
Shantou Lucky won four races in 13 days in September after being bought for £3,000 by James Owen and the rapidly improving eight-year-old is entered in Southwell's 3m½f handicap chase (2.30). Clonmel is the other jumps meeting, before Chelmsford and Newcastle complete the day's action with eight-race all-weather cards.
Friday
The Listed BetMGM Noel Murless Stakes (4.05) at Ascot is the British highlight and Arabian Force, who was beaten only a length by Pride Of Arras in the Group 2 Great Voltigeur Stakes, could drop in grade and take his chance.
There are also a couple of Listed prizes at Dundalk — the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Legacy Stakes and Irish Stallion Farms EBF Star Appeal Stakes — and Gowran Park.
Donnacha O'Brien, George Scott, David Menuisier, Brian Meehan and Charlie Johnston all have entries in the Group 3 Prix de Conde Jockey Club de Turquie at Saint-Cloud.
Southoftheborder, who unseated Nico de Boinville when sent off the 11-8 favourite for a Grade 2 at Sandown in December 2023, could make his stable debut for Henrietta Knight in a handicap chase at Fontwell (4.13) after joining from Nicky Henderson.
Static is rated 2lb lower than when finishing seventh in last season's Fred Winter and Brian Hughes is booked to ride Jimmy Fyffe's 38,000gns purchase in Hexham's feature 2m handicap hurdle (3.20).
Saturday
Longchamp's two-day Arc meeting gets under way, headlined by the Prix du Cadran, which will have a new winner for the first time since Magical Zoe's victory in 2020 after the retirement of Kyprios (2022 and 2024) and death of Trueshan (2021 and 2023).
The Prix de Royallieu, a 1m6f event for fillies and mares aged three and above, is the other Group 1. Anmaat finished fifth in the Prix Dollar last year before winning the Champion Stakes a fortnight later, so that is a Group 2 to keep an eye on along with the Prix Chaudenay and Prix Daniel Wildenstein.
The BetMGM Sun Chariot Stakes (2.40) is the headline act in Britain, with Fallen Angel the 9-4 favourite to record a third successive Group 1 win after victories in the Prix Rothschild and Matron Stakes.

The Sun Chariot is one of four races that will be shown on ITV from Newmarket, with Ascot's Group 3s — BetMGM Cumberland Lodge Stakes and John Guest Racing Bengough Stakes — and Redcar's Listed William Hill Two Year Old Trophy (3.20) also broadcast on the same channel.
The PWC Champion Chase headlines Gowran Park's jumps card and the Listed Darley Irish EBF Brigid's Pastures Stakes is the feature race at the Curragh.
Newcastle and Wolverhampton's evening all-weather cards complete the day's action.
Sunday
It's one of the greatest days of the year on the Flat as Longchamp hosts the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (3.00), the highlight of six Group 1 races on a glittering afternoon in Paris.
Last year's runner-up, Aventure, is contesting favouritism with Minnie Hauk, trained by Aidan O'Brien and triumphant in the Yorkshire Oaks on her last start.

Croix Du Nord, Byzantine Dream and Alohi Alii will all be bidding to become the first Japanese-trained winner of the €5 million (£4.36m) showpiece, Europe's richest Flat race, while Kalpana is tasked with emulating Bluestocking's win last year for owners Juddmonte.
The Prix Marcel Boussac, Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, Prix de l'Abbaye, Prix de l'Opera and Prix de la Foret complete the exciting line-up of other Group 1s.
Elsewhere, Tipperary stages its Super Sunday fixture, with three Grade 3s and the Listed Coolmore Sioux Nation Concorde Stakes featuring on a decent-quality mixed card. Killarney is the other fixture in Ireland, while Kelso and Uttoxeter host jumps meetings in Britain.
