It's nearly the weekend, which means the racing highlights of the week are nearly upon us, but before then there's all-weather action at Chelmsford and Dundalk to keep you going. Here are three horses worth noting.

Battle Of Jericho (7.00 Dundalk)

Aidan O'Brien has won the Listed Star Appeal Stakes four times in the last five years, with defeat coming 12 months ago. Battle Of Jericho bids to ensure normal service is resumed.

His form from July was boosted last weekend, as he was behind stablemates US Navy Flag and Fleet Review when fourth at the Curragh that day, before winning next time out at Leopardstown.

Siege Of Boston (7.15 Chelmsford)

John Butler's four-year-old was an interesting sideshow on deadline day in August when his owner, football agent Mark McKay, brought along one of his clients, Diafra Sakho, for an afternoon at the races.

Siege Of Boston won that day, and followed up again at Kempton last month. He has thrived since joining Butler from Gordon Elliott, and needs a career-best off a mark of 84.

Celtic Artisan (8.45 Chelmsford)

The booking of Oisin Murphy for this six-year-old has been a good indicator of when a big run is on the cards.

Murphy has been aboard six times, and returned three wins on Celtic Artisan, who is also 4lb lower than his last winning mark.
