Super Saturday carries on into the evening with British meetings at Salisbury and Hamilton and the French marking Bastille Day with the Group 1 Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp, which will be shown live on At The Races. Here we pick out three horses it should pay to follow across tonight's fixtures . . .

Alsvinder6.30 Hamilton

Scored a first turf success over the course and distance 12 days ago and fancied to repeat the trick.

There have been excuses for some of his defeats this year and when everything falls right, the David O'Meara-trained five-year-old is not short of ability.

As an habitual front-runner, the small field will help his cause and he can go in again.

Dee Ex Bee7.00 Longchamp

The Investec Derby runner-up will be looking to bounce back following a disappointing performance in the Irish equivalent.

Connections were inclined to blame the track and the very quick ground at the Curragh and the return to a softer surface should suit.

The score with chief rival Kew Gardens is one apiece but there was 25½ lengths between the pair at Epsom - albeit Kew Gardens was aggressively ridden - and Dee Ex Bee can maintain his domination.

Plansina8.30 Hamilton

Roger Fell has his team in good heart and this three-year-old can uphold her trainer's form against her elders in the 1m½f handicap.

The filly won twice at Newcastle earlier in the year and has been running well in slightly stronger fields than this on turf recently.

In these calmer waters and with the cheekpieces discarded, she looks primed to gain a first success on grass.
