If you are one of the 38 million working-age Brits who have ever wanted to tell your boss where to go, then Paul John may just be the hero you've been looking for.

An unlikely champion of the proletariat, you might say, but not only did he walk out of four jobs in less than two years, he also sent his last boss, Jim Best, a selfie of him flicking the V. Way to go, John. Stick it to the Man!

The defence claim the selfie was apropos of basically nothing, sent in response to a message, from Best, inquiring where John was on the evening following his ride on Echo Brava.
