Young guns Greatrex and Watson score to prove Hansen wrong again
It was at this time of year in 1995 when Match Of The Day pundit Alan Hansen famously said "you can't win anything with kids".
A youthful Manchester United proved him wrong that season by bagging the double, and Archie Watson and Eddy Greatrex are proving the maxim does not apply to racing either.
The pair – top of their respective hotlists at the start of play – teamed up for their fourth winner of the week thanks to Yabass, who made a successful debut in the novice auction stakes over a mile.
