West and Eley continue fine month with victory for Couldn't Could She

Couldn't Could She showed she could in the 1m2f handicap to further advertise the skill of Epsom trainer Adam West and his regular sidekick, apprentice Toby Eley.

West, who trains out of Loretta Lodge from where Terry Mills sent out Group 1 performers, was making it six winners from just 11 runners in May and Eley has ridden five from just nine rides for West.

The apprentice, one win away from seeing his claim reduced to 5lb, is looking forward to carrying on his run into June, having been picked to represent Britain in a European apprentice race on French Oaks day at Chantilly.
