Sheikh Hamdan hoping Enbihaar can reward him with Group 1 victory

Hamdan Al Maktoum has had to make many decisions with his horses over his 40 years of ownership, and a break from the norm yielded further rewards when Enbihaar galloped to a second victory in the Group 2 Qatar Lillie Langtry Stakes.
At five, Enbihaar would usually have been retired to Sheikh Hamdan’s Shadwell Stud broodmare band with her impressive CV already including three Group 2s and a Group 1 third before Saturday’s race.
However, Sheikh Hamdan and his advisers believe that a Group 1 may still be within the mare’s grasp and after she opened up her impressive stride to power away from her two rivals, it was easy to understand why that chance had been taken.
