Make Time sets up Racing Post Trophy bid
Gordon and Marquand ride winner apiece

Racing Post Trophy possible: Make Time (Jimmy Fortune) eclipses his rivals in the Salisbury maiden on WednesdayCredit: Edward Whitaker
What do Salisbury and Doncaster have in common? A couple of Group 1 winners in the shape of the last two St Leger winners Simple Verse and Harbour Law.
This year's Laura Mongan-trained hero opened his account in a 1m4f maiden on May 1 after Simple Verse had won the Bibury Cup in his Classic-winning season.
The eyecatching success of Make Time in the opening maiden opened the possibility of a third Group 1 tie-up as the Racing Post Trophy at Town Moor next month is in his sights.
