Gallagher quenches seaside thirst with Dolly
After a couple of close seconds trainer John Gallagher was confident his luck would change at a track which has treated him well in recent years.
The Gloucestershire trainer told the Quench Racing Partnership, which includes the landlord of the Green Man pub in Wembley, that their Quench Dolly would win after a sparkling home gallop.
Quench Dolly did not see which way Lady Aurelia went in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot but had clearly learned her lesson as she bounced out of the stalls and showed her rivals a clean pair of heels.
