Aintree and Punchestown under consideration for Casa No Mento after wide-margin novice chase win

Casa No Mento was a Listed winner over hurdles and looked back in that bracket over fences when registering her first victory in the discipline in the 2m1½f novice chase.
The Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained seven-year-old finished fourth on her chasing debut at this track in Listed company in November but justified 4-7 favouritism by 16 lengths in this easier assignment under the trainer's son Sam.
Twiston Davies's son and assistant Willy said: "We've always liked Casa No Mento and it was nice that she could get her head in front again. She's been slightly disappointing so far this season but she always comes good at this time of year and it's been a productive trip as she also picked up a £30,000 bonus."
As for future targets, he said: "After that we'll look at a spring festival such as Aintree or Punchestown with her."
In-form team
Ben Jones was rerouted from Wincanton for one ride and struck aboard I've Madeupmymind in the 2m½f mares' maiden hurdle.
Jones made it a remarkable eight winners from his last nine rides, and 13 winners from 19 rides in the past fortnight, on the 1-3 favourite, who was a sixth winner from his last nine runners for Ben Pauling.
The rider said: "I should have won a bumper on her before this but she's a little terrier."
Roller returns with a win
Charlie Longsdon produced the training performance of the day to prepare Big City Roller to score on his debut over fences in the 2m4½f handicap chase after a 445-day absence.
The 2-1 chance, partnered by Lilly Pinchin, had every right to blow up when returning on stamina-sapping heavy ground but kept on strongly after taking up the running two out to score by 26 lengths.
Pinchin told Sky Sports: "I've loved this horse since I won on him over hurdles at Carlisle. Fair play to Charlie for a great training performance."
