Ollie Sangster and Al Shaqab link up at Brighton, Dermot Weld out to add to Gowran gains
Key things to look out for at Monday's meetings . . .

Brighton: Expensive buy Hattal set for debut
Costly purchase Hattal is set to make her debut for Ollie Sangster in the 5½f maiden (3.00).
The three-year-old daughter of No Nay Never was purchased for 320,000gns by Al Shaqab Racing, and the sister to Listed French winner The Fixer, Hattal will be partnered by Faleh Bughenaim.
Sangster said: "I'm thrilled to get the support of Al Shaqab and it's nice to get a well-bred filly like her. We'll get her on to the track but she should improve for it.
"We've got a few two-year-olds for Al Shaqab but Simmering would be the flagbearer. It's great to have runners for Sheikh Joaan [bin Hamad Al Thani] and the wider Al Shaqab team."
Hattal's rivals include the Richard Hughes-trained Lazzar and the Lambourn trainer will be hoping to increase his impressive 67 per cent strike-rate in three-year-old maidens at the track.
Brighton stat: John O'Shea
Gowran Park: Dermot Weld gunning for more success
Dermot Weld has made a strong start to the season at the track and saddles four runners across the card.
Weld, who is operating at a 36 per cent strike-rate (5-14), begins with the Juddmonte-owned Chocalho in the mile fillies' maiden (1.32). The daughter of Kingman is having her first run since finishing third on the all-weather at Dundalk in November.
Weld will also be hoping to register a course-and-distance hat-trick with Deressa in the feature 1m1½f Gowran Classic handicap (2.42).
Kalixia will face a number of course winners in the 1m1½f fillies' handicap (4.27). The Kingman filly scored on her first start back at Naas in April after a 191-day break over a slightly longer trip at 1m2½f.
Weld saddles Elvetham in the 1m1½f handicap (5.30). The Blue Point gelding finished sixth over a mile at the course in April and will be bidding get off the mark.
Listowel: Mullins and Townend take the eye
Willie Mullins and Paul Townend have been the most successful trainer-jockey partnership at the track in the past five seasons and team up for two runners.
Grade 3 winner Blood Destiny, who landed the Flyingbolt Novice Chase at Naas last season, is seeking his fifth win from 14 starts in the 2m3f John J Galvin Chase (4.15).
The six-year-old has not scored since that victory last March but finished third in two Grade 2s this year and was last seen finishing second in the Grade 3 An Riocht Chase at Killarney last month.
His two-length defeat behind Hercule Du Seuil yielded a career-best Racing Post Rating of 160.
The pair also team up with La Note Verte in the 2m maiden hurdle (1.55). The five-year-old mare is set for her first start since winning a bumper at the track 12 months ago.
Market Rasen: Skeltons out for more spoils
Dan Skelton and Harry Skelton have enjoyed a fruitful spell at the track in recent seasons and team up with two chances.
Dan Skelton trained nine winners from 45 runners at the course last season and saddles hat-trick-chasing Gwennie May Jem, who will be ridden by his brother in the 2m1f novice handicap chase (4.00).
The five-year-old beat El Rojo Grande by three and a quarter lengths at Warwick in April, before inflicting an 11-length defeat on the same rival at Newton Abbot two weeks later.
The trainer-jockey partnership will also link up with Queensworthy in the 2m2½f maiden hurdle (1.40). Second in a point-to-point at Lingstown, the five-year-old mare made a winning start under rules when landing a Southwell bumper last time out.
Market Rasen stat: Mickey Bowen
The trainer is 2-2 in handicap hurdles at the track this season. He saddles last-time-out winner Letterston Lady in the 2m4½f contest (3.25)
Wetherby: Fahey looks to build on red-hot strike-rate
Richard Fahey was almost unbeatable at the track in 2024 as he ended the year with a stunning 70 per cent strike-rate with seven winners from his ten runners.
Last year's leading trainer returns with two decent chances, starting with Cotai Belle in the 5½f maiden fillies' stakes (6.30). The two-year-old daughter of Cotai Glory ran a promising race to finish second on her second outing at Thirsk last month.
Fahey also boasts a 50 per cent strike-rate (4-8) in two-year-old non-handicaps at the track in the past four seasons, so Cotai Belle can be expected to come on from her last outing.
The trainer is also 3-8 (38 per cent) in open handicaps in the same period, so stablemate Glistening Nights should have good claims in the penultimate 1m2f contest (8.30). The four-year-old is the only one in the nine-runner field with course-and-distance form.
Windsor: Hannon holds strong claims with course-and-distance winner
Richard Hannon is enjoying a strong season, particularly at Windsor, where he is operating at a 27 per cent strike-rate (4-15) this term.
The Wiltshire trainer sends one runner to the Thameside venue, Morcar in the 1m2f handicap (7.45). A course-and-distance winner in August, the Saxon Warrior gelding has progressed with each start this season and posted a career-best effort when winning at Lingfield last month.
Fellow course-and-distance winner Silver Gunn also brings good form into the race for Marco Botti.
