'He might prove a bargain buy' - it's time to deliver for Amo's £2m 'nearly horse'

He was bought by Amo Racing for £2 million at the Goffs London Sale before Royal Ascot, which certainly raises expectations, but it is worth noting the four-year-old is not the only runner in the Group 2 Princess of Wales's Stakes (3.35) at Newmarket with a big price-tag.
German Derby winner Palladium, who had a brief spell over hurdles with Nicky Henderson, cost €1.4m at the Arc Sale in October, while El Cordobes was initially sold for 2,000,000gns as a yearling at Tattersalls Book 1.
