The son of Oasis Dream returned to the scene of his latest victory in the Group 2 Superlative Stakes when working on the July course. Covering seven furlongs in front of the empty stands under William Buick, the unbeaten two-year-old matched strides with the 96-rated three-year-old Modern News, who was ridden by Robert Winston.

Native Trail could next be aimed at the Group 2 Champagne Stakes at Doncaster on September 11 or the Group 1 Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes at the Curragh a day later by Appleby.
