Further fights take place at both Lingfield and Uttoxeter fixtures

LINGFIELD is to beef up security for its remaining 'hooves and grooves' racenights this month after another flare-up in the crowd on Saturday evening.
A similar fight was reported at sister track Uttoxeter on Friday, where a large crowd attended another music night featuring Radio 2 DJ Jo Whiley.
The subject of alcohol-fulled misbehaviour at racecourses is a hot topic, with Lingfield having already experienced a couple of brawls this summer before this latest incident, one of which was the subject of an emotive article by Richard Hughes in his Racing Post column on Saturday.
