Laura Pearson 'all guns blazing' for apprentice title after dream December

An explosion of winter winners has thrust Laura Pearson into the limelight, and the in-form apprentice hopes to stay there as she plans to go "all guns blazing" for two champion apprentice title in 2021.
The 19-year-old rode 11 winners with a 30 per cent strike-rate last month, numbers of which any jockey would be envious, and her success is even more surprising given the fact she had only ten rides between February and November last year.
Pearson, an apprentice with Tom Clover, has shown no sign of slowing down in the new year with three winners already on the board, including success for Clover on Rockett Man at Chelmsford on Saturday which led to her losing her 7lb claim.
