Baaeed will face just six rivals as he bids to maintain his unbeaten record and kick off Royal Ascot 2022 in terrific fashion in the Queen Anne Stakes (2.30).

The William Haggas-trained star made the perfect return when an easy winner of the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury last month and is the odds-on favourite to land a fourth career Group 1 and take his unblemished record to eight.

Real World and Chindit, who finished second and third in the Lockinge, will take on Baaeed once again, while shock 2020 Breeders' Cup Mile winner Order Of Australia will make his comeback and is Aidan O'Brien's sole representative.

2018 winner Accidental Agent, last year's third Sir Busker and bet365 Mile winner Lights On complete the field after Mother Earth, Happy Power and Aldaary were taken out of the race at the final declaration stage.

International stars face off in King's Stand

The thrilling clash between top-class international sprinters Golden Pal and Nature Strip is on after the pair were among 18 declared for the King's Stand Stakes (3.40).

The Wesley Ward-trained Golden Pal was an impressive winner of the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint at Del Mar last November and will bid to get off the mark in Britain having finished runner-up in the 2020 Norfolk Stakes and a disappointing seventh in last year's Nunthorpe Stakes.

Top juveniles clash in Coventry Stakes

Unbeaten juveniles Persian Force and Blackbeard will go head-to-head after they featured among a final field of 17 for the Coventry Stakes (3.05).

The Richard Hannon-trained Persian Force got the Flat season off to a electric start when an impressive winner of the Brocklesby Stakes before backing that up in a conditions contest at Newbury on Lockinge Stakes day and will bid to give owners Amo Racing a landmark first Royal Ascot success.

Blackbeard took his perfect record to three when an easy winner of the Marble Hill Stakes at the Curragh on Irish 2,000 Guineas day and aims to give trainer Aidan O'Brien a record-extending tenth win in the race.

Impressive Goodwood scorer Royal Scotsman also featured in the final field, but previous market leader Noble Style was taken out of the Group 2 after Charlie Appleby confirmed he would miss the race on Sunday morning.
