Foret aim for Sacred as Haggas weighs up options for Alenquer and Mohaafeth
William Haggas will keep his star filly Sacred to seven furlongs this season, with the Group 1 Prix de la Foret the most likely end of season target for the impressive Hungerford winner.
The Newbury Group 2 was her first run since finishing seventh upped to a mile in the 1,000 Guineas, and back in trip she returned to winning ways to add to her Nell Gwyn success in April.

Haggas has been convinced that, for now at least, seven furlongs is her best trip and said: "She'll go for the Foret. She's in the Park Stakes [next month] and if it was good to firm she might go there, the trouble with Paris in October is it can be wet, but she could go for the Foret. I think she likes a bit of space between her races."
Haggas has yet to make plans for Alenquer and Mohaafeth, who finished second and fourth respectively to Mishriff in the Juddmonte International at York on Wednesday.
"I'm not sure what we'll do with Alenquer, we have to talk about it as there's not much that's too obvious. He ran a good race at a trip too short for him," Haggas said.
"Mishriff swept by him a bit quick but he really stayed on well in the last furlong so I was really pleased with him. He is in the Arc and the Champion Stakes. He'd be an outsider in those races but he's a pretty good horse.
"I don't know yet about Mohaafeth, he's had two hard races but if he goes again I'd like to try him at a mile.
"We'll discuss it and see, but he's a nice horse who had a hard race so we'll give him an easy time for a bit and see what happens."
