Huntingdon has passed its third inspection and racing will go ahead on Friday after the track was unraceable this morning due to frozen ground.

There was still areas of frozen ground during the second inspection at 9am but the dry and sunny weather has led to an improvement. The forecast is dry and sunny and the temperature could reach 5C. The first race is off at 1pm.

The going at the track is soft and the feature race is the informative Chatteris Fen Juvenile Hurdle (2.30), won last year by Prabeni.

It has been a while since any horse who won the race has made an impact at the Cheltenham Festival but it has been won by a number of talented horses, including Sceau Royal, who struck here in 2016.

The market suggests Kotmask, a comfortable winner at Fontwell last time, could be the one to beat for Gary and Jamie Moore but there is little to split the four-year-old from Parliament Hill and Rewired.
