The beauty of Barbados is the island gives you so much time to do so little.
For those keen to be busy the options are plentiful, but it's equally possible to let things happen at island pace in island time. For its many visitors there is certainly no imperative to be out and about early, unless perhaps you want to see the sun rise while enjoying a morning swim in the deep blue ocean. This being Barbados, you might also want to see some racehorses doing exactly the same.
This is Gold Cup day, the event that stands head and shoulders above all others in the Bajan racing calendar, yet Gold Cup morning is just like any other morning, which means the place to be is Pebbles Beach.
