I’m back at Catterick. It hasn’t changed. Not that it needs to. It appears to be almost completely new. New bar; new owners and trainers; new restaurant; new weighing room. I don’t know how new but far newer than at most tracks.
I pull up behind a grey Ford Mustang in the car park. My alarm had gone off at 4am, but at that time of the morning I can be through security at the airport only an hour and a quarter later, which makes things much easier.
