Online bookies faces nervous wait over T&Cs probe
Gambling operators can never have been under so much scrutiny from government and regulators as they are now.
While betting shop operators are feeling the heat over gaming machines, online firms are facing an investigation that could profoundly affect their businesses and the experience of their customers.
In October last year the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) announced it was examining whether online gambling firms were treating their customers fairly following concerns raised by the Gambling Commission over misleading promotions and unfair terms.
