Dominant duo Moore and Dettori set to extend stranglehold on riding honours

Royal Ascot is billed as five days of the most competitive racing in the world, but when it comes to top-jockey honours it is a glorified match race with all bar two of the runners running from out of the handicap.
That is not to say an upset is impossible, Jim Crowley nearly did exactly that last year, but his near-miss is a stark reminder of exactly what the others are up against. All but one of the last 11 titles have been won by two men.
The last two years Frankie Dettori has taken the award to make it seven in total, while eight of the previous nine years Ryan Moore ruled supreme. Johnny Murtagh, a five-time winner, is the only other rider to have taken the prize since 2010.
