Dermot Weld calls on Jonjo O'Neill Jr to ride festival contender Coltor

Dermot Weld has enlisted bright young talent Jonjo O'Neill Jr to partner his live Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle contender Coltor next week, with the former Irish champion Flat trainer relishing the chance to add to his Cheltenham Festival haul.
The master of Rosewell House has saddled a trio of Grade 1 winners at jump racing's showpiece event, the first coming in the 1990 Triumph Hurdle with Rare Holiday, who was ridden by Brendan Sheridan.
Weld has not had a runner at the meeting since 2016, landing the Weatherbys Champion Bumper with Silver Concorde and the Neptune Novices' Hurdle with Windsor Park in consecutive years prior to that, but has managed to find a Cheltenham candidate for 2021 despite having just two jumps horses in training.
