John Gosden changes company name but trainer promises 'I'm not going anywhere any time soon'

John Gosden said on Wednesday that changing his company name was about future-proofing his family business but promised he was “not going anywhere soon”.
Last month, Gosden, who trains in partnership with his son Thady, changed his business name from John Gosden Limited to Clarehaven Limited, registered at the family’s historic yard on Newmarket’s Bury Road.
John and Thady Gosden have trained in partnership since 2021 and in 2023 became the first joint-licence holders in Britain to be crowned champion Flat trainers. Last year, the pair finished sixth in the championship won by Aidan O’Brien.
