Tori Hayter's alarm goes off early at the best of times, but with temperatures pushing 30°C by lunchtime in Newmarket this week, it's blaring earlier than ever.

"My alarm was set for 2.50am yesterday but this morning I had a lie-in and got up at 3am," says Ed Dunlop's assistant.
