Paris St-Germain vs Arsenal Bet Builder tips

Under 3.5 goals

Paris St-Germain have produced some exhilarating performances against Premier League clubs but their Champions League semi-final second leg against Arsenal could be a more tactical affair.

PSG racked up 82 shots, 29 of them on target, in home matches against Manchester City in the league phase, Liverpool in the round of 16 and Aston Villa in the quarter-finals.

But, with a 1-0 lead to defend from the first leg at Arsenal, Luis Enrique may temper his side's attacking instincts and under 3.5 goals looks a solid Bet Builder selection.

Nine of Arsenal's last 11 Premier League matches had under 3.5 goals and they have conceded only eight goals in 13 Champions League games this term, including October's 2-0 league-phase win over PSG.

Under 14.5 Arsenal shots

PSG hope Ousmane Dembele, scorer of the only goal in the first leg, will be fit enough to start on Wednesday but there are no doubts over the make-up of their defence and midfield.

The French champions have been able to rest and rotate since clinching the Ligue 1 title at the start of April and they can restrict Arsenal to under 14.5 shots.

The Gunners need to win the game to keep alive their hopes of making the final but carving out chances against PSG will not be easy.

They had only ten shots in the home leg and average 12.7 attempts per game in the Champions League and a modest 14.2 in this season's Premier League.

PSG had 52 per cent of possession in north London and they have shown that they are capable of stifling top-class opponents.

They had more than 70 per cent of the ball in the home fixtures against Liverpool and Villa, who mustered only nine shots between them in Paris.

Jurrien Timber to be shown a card

Jurrien Timber returned to training for Arsenal on Monday after missing the weekend defeat to Bournemouth and the right-back could be back in the firing line against PSG.

Timber has been a serene presence in defence for most of the season but he had a testing time in the first leg against brilliant PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Netherlands international committed four fouls in the first 19 minutes and was fortunate not to give away an early penalty when he appeared to pull Kvaratskhelia to the ground.

No Arsenal player has picked up more yellow cards than Timber's seven in the Premier League this season and he may well add to that tally in the second leg.
