Tabitha Worsley seen to excellent effect aboard notorious Go West Young Man

Amateur rider Tabitha Worsley was the toast of bookmakers as she skilfully guided Go West Young Man to a shock victory in the £22,000 Perth Silver Cup to foil an almighty gamble.

Old Salt, who won two selling hurdles on his last two outings, was backed as if defeat was out of the question, being supported from an overnight 11-2 into 11-8 favouritism.

But he was undone by a perfectly-executed ride from Worsley, who never once reached for the whip on the quirky Go West Young Man in the 2m handicap chase.
