Danny Tudhope was quick to banish the memory of a frustrating Saturday with a double on My Best Friend and Quanah.
Tudhope, who finished second in four races during a rare blank afternoon at Redcar the previous day, started on the right footing when winning the 6f maiden on the David O'Meara-trained My Best Friend.
The Ontoawinner-owned juvenile took a step forward after finishing fifth over 7f at Thirsk on his debut 12 days earlier.
