Warren Greatrex dreaming of capturing Stayers' Hurdle again with Emitom

The highlight of Warren Greatrex's training career came in the 2015 Stayers' Hurdle thanks to Cole Harden, and the trainer looks poised to have another crack of landing the Cheltenham Festival prize with impressive Unibet Rendlesham Hurdle winner Emitom.
Always held in high regard by his trainer, Emitom was well beaten on his seasonal comeback at Cheltenham last month but confirmed his earlier promise at Haydock with an eight-length success under Gavin Sheehan.
"He's only six and has got the world at his feet," beamed Greatrex. "He had that blip before Cheltenham and it was trainer error last time as I under-trained him. He's always behind the bridle and hits a few flat spots, but when you want him to go he does and Gavin said he's won on the bridle pretty much."
