Up Monaghan! Syndicate named in Brady's honour do him proud with celebrations

Oliver Brady's legacy lives on. On a sun-kissed afternoon dominated by Donnacha O'Brien, it was the Up Monaghan Syndicate who brought a run-of-the-mill midweek fixture to life after Spiral Galaxy carried their colours to victory in the 1m2f handicap.
No matter where the meeting or how poor the race was, Brady always put smiles on faces wherever he went with his after-race antics and this newly-formed syndicate, named after the colourful character's most famous phrase, did him proud with their celebrations after the surprise 14-1 success.

The syndicate, made up of eight shares, was established by the philanthropic Rita Shah and they savoured every second of the success, raising the decibel levels considerably with their cheering before, during and after the race. It is the way these lesser fixtures should be.
