Tiernan Power Roche continues purple patch while Willie Mullins runner makes winning return after 517 days

Tiernan Power Roche continued his impressive form when steering Give Him A Chance to a first success in the 2m4f handicap hurdle.
The jockey made it five winners in the last fortnight when scoring by a comfortable five lengths on the Philip Rothwell-trained six-year-old.
Give Him A Chance got off the mark at the sixth attempt for the 5lb claimer, who bounced back from falling off the 9-2 shot at Limerick in April.
Speaking to Racing TV, Power Roche said: "I just tried to keep creeping into it as best as I could heading into the last circuit. Once he passed one, he passed another and kept finding a way. He put in a good jump at the last and it was nice to get the job done.
"He was in contention the last day before he fell, so it was nice for him to get his head in front. He's not the fastest, so he likes getting a lead, but once he passes a few who are stopping around him he stays on really well. It all fell together in the end."
River comeback
I Am River made a successful comeback for Willie Mullins when winning the opening 2m4f maiden hurdle after a 517-day layoff.
Owned by JP McManus and ridden by amateur Anna McGuinness, the six-year-old was having his first outing since his debut at Fairyhouse in January 2024.
Mullins completed a double when Paul Townend won on Toad Hall, odds-on favourite in the 3m1f novice hurdle.
