Shrewd buy Breanski makes it two from two since joining Jedd O'Keeffe
Jedd O'Keefe has had Breanski for just over a month, but the four-year-old showed just what a shrewd purchase he was by making it two out of two for him in the £20,000 7f handicap.
He cost 25,000gns at Newmarket in July, but has more than repaid that price in his two runs for the Middleham trainer.
As when winning the valuable Beeswing Handicap at Newcastle three weeks earlier, he scored in some style, for though he was held up off the ordinary gallop he came through strongly under Antonia Fresu to win readily by three-quarters of a length.
