Richards proves a breath of fresh Ayr again on Scotland's west coast

Nicky Richards confirmed his love for the two-hour trip from his Cumbria base up the M74 to Scotland's west coast course with a 44-1 treble from Blakerigg, Takingrisks and Ribble Valley.
After Brian Hughes steered Blakerigg to victory in the Gordon's Pink Gin Handicap Chase, it was the Greystoke stable's conditional Danny McMenamin who stole the limelight with a double.
The former Irish amateur had won on his first ride for Richards at the track in March and after just seven rides in the summer he burst back on the scene.
