Horse caught by dog walker after running loose and taking a wild detour through the woods at Salisbury

Brocklesby Bill escaped the stalls and ran several miles beyond the track before the start of the second division of the 7f novice.
The juvenile, named in memory of trainer Kathy Turner’s late father Bill, ran loose and cleared the course fencing before disappearing into the brambles and running across fields.
The runaway’s jockey Ben Ffrench Davis, Turner’s son Ryan and vet Martin Peaty were among those who attempted to catch the colt.
Brocklesby Bill was eventually caught safely after the drama on what would have been his first start for owners Rich Clothier and Jennifer Gray.
Turner said: “What had upset my owners was that they continued to film him going through hedges and cantering across fields. The owner bred him and she pulled him out of the mare – she found it very distressing.
“He’s all good now, but he went nearly three miles before he ended up on a footpath and a dog walker caught him. Ben was the first one down to try to catch him.
“The vet was brilliant. He clambered through the brambles and hedges with my son.”
Murphy four-timer
Oisin Murphy enjoyed a four-timer on the card.
The rider was aboard Runman, who quickened to an impressive debut victory in the opening mile novice event for John and Thady Gosden, and Akho Mezzna, who landed the first division of the 7f novice stakes for Jack Jones.
He then won the feature 7f maiden fillies' stakes on the Andrew Balding-trained Black Chiffon and completed his haul with the Saeed bin Suroor-trained Sword Master in the 6f conditions stakes.
