Moore shines on opening day with 575-1 treble

Ryan Moore, the jockey many regard as the world's best Flat rider, showed just why they hold that view by riding the first three winners on the opening day of the Flat season at Doncaster.
Moore teamed up with his old mucker Richard Hannon to win the Betway Cammidge Trophy on Tupi and followed that by striking in the Betway Spring Mile on Ballet Concerto, who is trained by his mentor Sir Michael Stoute.
The three-time champion jockey was back on board a Hannon inmate for his third ride, guiding Kool Kopmany to victory in the Betway Doncaster Mile to complete a 575-1 treble.
Moore was just touched off in the Betway Lincoln when finishing second on Oh This Is Us.
Fellow leading rider Frankie Dettori said: "I didn't expect him to ride one, let alone three as all of his horses were big odds, and it just shows you what a masterclass rider he is.
"He's cool and his timing is very good. If they go slow, he's always got a good pitch forward and if they go too fast he lets them go."
