Milton Harris jumping for joy after striking on the Flat with Super Superjack

Friday: Ascot
Milton Harris, fresh from a record-breaking jumps campaign, quickly asserted himself on the Flat when Super Superjack followed up last Saturday's win at Goodwood in the 2m apprentice handicap.
The Wiltshire trainer recorded 56 winners over jumps last season, including Grade 1 success at Aintree with Knight Salute, and has now turned his attention to the Flat.
It was a third Flat winner inside a week for Harris, who also struck with Songo at Bath on Monday, and the trainer hopes to continue throughout the summer.
"The Flat is difficult for us because we’re not Flat people," Harris said. "We don’t have two-year-olds, we have jumps horses to go back on the Flat and we’d be looking for ten or 20 winners."
Super Superjack was named after Jack Grealish, former captain of Aston Villa, the club that owner-breeder Lee Turland supports.
"It was a good win for Super Superjack," Turland said. "Milton said the best way to win was to settle him. It was good to see him do what he did off a decent pace. This horse is improving."
Harris added: "The owner is a good fella and he likes a good time. He didn’t want to run the horse because the ground was too quick, but it was fine for him."
Goal for Kia
Kia Joorabchian made his name as a superagent in football, but he is quickly leaving his mark on racing and enjoyed another winner when Omniqueen, a possibility for Royal Ascot, struck in the 5f maiden for fillies.
"This is my favourite track and I'll run as many as I can at Royal Ascot," he said.
Joorabchian's string run under the name of Amo Racing, whose purple silks are now a familiar sight on the Flat.
He added: "Have I been bitten by the bug, what do you think? We've got a lot in training and the plan is to get bigger and to compete at the top. To compete at the top we need the ammunition."
Omniqueen is trained by Dave Loughnane, who was purring about his winner's sire Tasleet.
"I've two by him and they've both won first time out and they've got great attitudes – he's a fabulous stallion."

Burrows continues form
It is an important year for Owen Burrows, who enjoyed a winner at Chelmsford on Thursday night and followed up when Alflaila landed the 7f handicap.
"Tarrabb was good last night and it's great that what we've got is running well," said the Lambourn trainer, whose smart sprinter Minzaal appears in next week's 1895 Duke of York Clipper Logistics Stakes. "It's a nice time to be peaking."
Owners delight
Owner-breeder Jeff Hobby and his wife Phoebe were all smiles after seeing Many A Star come out on top in the 6f handicap for older horses.
The winner is trained by Paul and Oliver Cole, whose yard is close to the Hobbys' Brightwalton Stud.
"Paul, Oliver and the team have done a fantastic job with the horse and they are great fun," said Hobby.
