'It's an honour to ride for him' - Joanna Mason makes full use of William Haggas link-up as Supermodel returns to win

Joanna Mason took advantage of a rare ride for William Haggas when landing the feature 1m½f fillies' handicap with the returning Supermodel.
Mason, who rode eight winners in May, made the perfect start to June when Supermodel, who was making her first start since finishing fifth in the Listed Radley Stakes at Newbury in October, finished clear of Treasure.
Mason has now won on two of her six rides for Haggas, and speaking to Racing TV she said: "It's an honour to ride for him, and to ride nice horses like that, so I have to say thanks to him and the owners. Hopefully I can keep up that strike-rate now.
"I've had a really good week. I had a double at Catterick the other day and I've started this month off well, so hopefully that continues."
It was only a third career run for Supermodel, who ran out an impressive debut winner at Haydock in September.
Mason added: "She's picked it up well and it's nice to see her run back into form. She travelled with me lovely and ran right to the line, and she just kept galloping."
In-form yard
Faye Bramley registered her third Flat winner from 11 runners with Pay Attention in division one of the 1m½f handicap.
Bramley, who is based at Sir Anthony McCoy’s pre-training yard in Lambourn, is operating at a 27 per cent strike-rate in this sphere after Pay Attention defeated French Haven by a neck to break his maiden at the tenth attempt.
Green goes in
Nad Alshiba Green once again demonstrated her consistency when landing the 5f fillies' handicap. She has now finished in the first three in eight previous outings.
