'I could do with more support but my weight and no saunas isn't helping' - Kirby

Adam Kirby, who enjoyed a welcome festival winner when Get Ahead got in front at Glorious Goodwood on Thursday, took the opportunity to speak frankly about his weight problems, which have limited his appearances in the saddle this season.
Kirby's lowest riding weight in the last 12 months is 9st, but the three-year-old filly has carried less than that in her four most recent starts when Liam Keniry has been aboard.
Blessed with 9st 9lb, Get Ahead had Kirby in the plate for the 5f handicap and delivered her first success since May last year.
