The second time is not supposed to be as good – but try telling that to Hollie Doyle.

Having gained a breakthrough success in last month's Group 2 Princess of Wales's Tattersalls Stakes, Doyle won her second Pattern race with a well-executed ride on the Roger Charlton-trained Extra Elusive in the Group 3 BetVictor Rose of Lancaster Stakes.

The victory carried extra significance as the jockey cemented her new association with Derby-winning owner-breeder Imad Al Sagar, for whom she registered a first win as retained rider at Lingfield on Tuesday.
