Fahey on fire as Carlisle hat-trick secures 412-1 four-timer
Quantity and quality are the ideal ingredients for success and Richard Fahey enjoyed both on Wednesday as a hat-trick at Carlisle supplemented Valdermoro's win in the Group 3 Acomb Stakes at York.
Along with that colt, the trainer looks to have another pair of smart juveniles on his hands as Deb's Delight and Amaysmont pulled clear of their rivals to win the first and second divisions of the 6f novice stakes, while Sootability scooted back to form in the mile handicap.
Apprentice Sean Davis was aboard the latter two winners, leaving him on 29 for the season – one shy of apprentice championship leader Cieren Fallon.
