'Everyone else seems to think he has a chance' - Crown Of Oaks shoots to head of Cambridgeshire market after easy win

Crown Of Oaks was promoted to the head of the Cambridgeshire market after demolishing his rivals in the 1m2f handicap under Cieren Fallon.
The progressive three-year-old was keen early but soon settled and proved a class above when stretching more than six lengths clear of Stem. After recording his second win on the bounce he was cut to 4-1 (from 10) for Newmarket's heritage handicap on September 27.
"He's been waiting for the ground and he was good today in a trappy race," said trainer William Haggas. "I thought he had half run off with him to start with, but he settled into a good rhythm and won reasonably well.
"He's in the Cambridgeshire and everyone else seems to think he has a chance, but he's got to get in. That penalty will help but I don't suppose he'll be off 85 again for a while, so we ought to aim for that."
The odds-on success kickstarted a productive afternoon for Haggas, who celebrated a double at Haydock alongside an Ascot treble with Abloom in the mile fillies' handicap and and Tenability in the feature £100,000 handicap.
Sent off at 5-2, Tenability fought to get the better of favourite Push The Limit and prevailed by a length under Fallon, completing a hat-trick at the course in the span of six weeks.
"He's going through the ranks," Fallon told Sky Sports Racing. "He did very well to win here the last day and he's improved a ton from then. He's done it really well and I really like this horse. It feels like he's doing everything the right way."
Win for Warrior
Native Warrior was unlucky at Glorious Goodwood but enjoyed better fortune as he weaved through the field to land the 7f handicap.
The Karl Burke-trained four-year-old was produced perfectly by Jamie Spencer to achieve the biggest win of his career in the £80,000 handicap, scoring by a length and a half over Great Acclaim.
