Buildmeupbuttercup was never going to let her followers down, but a loose horse may have had other ideas coming down to the last in the Listed mares' hurdle.

But all's well that ends well and Buildmeupbuttercup and Paul Townend kick-started a double for champion trainer Willie Mullins, who also sent out Purple Mountain to score in the Listed mares' bumper.

Both wins were achieved in some style. Buildmeupbuttercup supporters, who was sent off the 8-11 favourite, may have been given a minor fright coming down to the last, but a minor fright was all it was, and she ended up winning with what appeared to be plenty in hand.
