Another home win for Jamacho as big improver strikes once more for racecourse

A significant step up in class was not enough to thwart Jamacho's excellent form as the six-year-old landed a fantastic fourth success in a row for Charlie Longsdon in the 2m½f handicap hurdle.

Jamacho is part-owned by Stratford racecourse, along with Robert Aplin, which is just as well given three of his four victories this season have come at the Warwickshire venue.

He was scoring this time off 123 having been rated 99 less than two months ago, and winning rider and champion jockey Brian Hughes paid tribute to his mount's attitude.
