All systems go for Ben Pauling after opening account from his new yard

Sunday: Ffos Las
Exciting times lie ahead for Ben Pauling who was able to welcome his first winner from his new yard as Harper’s Brook underlined his potential.
Pauling is looking forward to a new chapter in his training career after moving three miles along the road to his new establishment at Naunton Downs, near Cheltenham.
Just three days after making the switch the trainer was on the scoreboard when the promising Harper’s Brook easily justified odds of 10-11 in the 2m4f novice hurdle.
"It’s great to get the monkey off our back so quickly with the first winner from the new yard," said Pauling.
"This is a talented horse but it’s been a bit of a mess with him. He didn’t run his race at Sandown and being a big horse he was probably in front for too long in his last race.
"He’ll have a summer holiday now and will go straight over fences when he returns. He’ll start off over two miles or two and half miles but he will stay three miles in time."
Dunbar makes breakthrough
Dunbar shed his maiden tag at the 20th attempt when seeing off his five rivals in the 2m handicap chase.
"Sean Bowen gave him an excellent ride and he's been coming down the weights. He also seems to be better when he’s fresh, so the long break did him good," said trainer David Rees.
Light fantastic
Full Of Light made amends for a below-par effort last time to secure victory in the 2m4f handicap hurdle, benefiting from a positive ride from Nico de Boinville.
