What a weekend we have in store. Not only do we have the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe as the glittering centrepiece of a phenomenal card at Longchamp on Sunday, but we first have no fewer than nine races live on ITV on Saturday.
Given the make-up of the Arc field, which sees fillies Minnie Hauk and Aventure dominating the betting, it feels somewhat apt that females also take centre stage in Saturday's big race, the BetMGM Sun Chariot Stakes on Newmarket's Rowley Mile.
One of the big contenders is Cinderella's Dream, a dual Group 1 winner who disappointed last time when up in trip in the Prix Jean Romanet but had previously built on a runner-up finish at Royal Ascot to win the Falmouth Stakes on the Rowley Mile's sister track, the July course.
