'It should be tailor-made for us' says Havana Hurricane's buyer - but is he really a Super Sprint good thing?

Welcome to a Saturday boasting two big races with one glaring similarity despite profiles that could not be more different as both the Juddmonte Irish Oaks (3.40 Curragh) and the Weatherbys Super Sprint (3.30 Newbury) present us with red-hot favourites.

Indeed, at current odds of 1-4, Minnie Hauk could become the shortest-priced favourite for the Curragh Classic since Diminuendo scrambled to a dead-heat at 2-9 in 1988.

Such rarified air is not breathed by all but the biggest bettors, but when it comes to the even-money on offer about Havana Hurricane in the Super Sprint, then there is genuine reflection required for most punters.
