Leading owner Paul Byrne looks to continue excellent run and Albany runner makes her handicap debut
Punting pointers for Thursday's meetings . . .

Doncaster: Albany runner Senorita Vega makes handicap debut
Interesting handicap debutants in the opening nursery (1.25) include Senorita Vega, who steps up to seven furlongs after running in the Albany Stakes last time. Tom Dascombe's filly was a 125-1 shot for the Royal Ascot Group 3 but performed better than her odds suggested to finish tenth of 17.
Albany winner Venetian Sun followed up in the Group 2 Duchess of Cambridge Stakes, whereas Senorita Vega drops into handicap company off a rating of 84.
The daughter of Lucky Vega has been running in decent company from her debut at Bath in April, when she was fourth behind subsequent Listed National Stakes and Super Sprint winner Anthelia.
Dascombe said: "The ground was quick enough at Royal Ascot but she'll love the conditions at Doncaster. I think she's a nice filly and I hope she can prove to be a bit better than handicapping. If she can win a nursery off 84 then she probably is, so we'll find out more."
Newbury: Millman takes Fast Steps in bid for more course success
Almost a week on from Anthelia's scintillating Super Sprint win, Rod Millman returns to the track with just one runner in the 1m2f amateurs' handicap (5.50) with Fast Steps.
The seven-year-old has not won since a course-and-distance success last July and it has taken a while for his mark to drop given he has been placed four times in 11 races since then.
The trainer's son Patrick takes the ride and only him, Ryan Moore and Oisin Murphy have been able to produce wins in Fast Steps' 40-race career.
Sandown: Godolphin send Catullus to maiden with Classic history
Kameko made a successful debut in the 7f maiden (2.45) in 2019 before winning the following year's 2,000 Guineas and that route to success in the Newmarket Classic was emulated by Ruling Court this year.
Ruling Court's trainer Charlie Appleby bids to win the race for a third year in a row with Catullus, who outran odds of 20-1 on his debut to finish third under James Doyle at Newmarket's July festival.
William Buick won on Ruling Court and also on subsequent Listed and two-time Group 3 winner Arabian Crown in 2023, so Godolphin clearly like running a smart one in this £10,000 event.
Of those with experience, Publish is a major contender as he was beaten only half a length over course and distance on his first start. Appleby will have a good idea what that form is worth as Publish was split by Godolphin colts Pacifica Pier and Key Of Magic.
Colin Keane, who was denied a clear run on Publish, is suspended due to breaching the whip rules when winning on the fellow Juddmonte-owned Windlord later on that Sandown card, so James Doyle takes over on the John and Thady Gosden-trained son of Kingman.
Sandown stat: Ollie Sangster
The Manton trainer has had the last two winners of the Listed European Bloodstock News EBF Star Stakes (3.20) and Hayynah could take his strike-rate in the 7f race to 75 per cent (3-4).
Wexford: Spillane's Tower half-sister Mummy Derry returns for Byrne
Grade 1 and Cheltenham Festival-winning owner Paul Byrne could enjoy his third winner in a row with Mummy Derry, who tries to make a successful reappearance in the 2m4f mares' maiden hurdle (5.10).
Byrne's Ballysax Hank justified 9-4 favouritism in Saturday's £100,000 Summer Plate at Market Rasen before Dignam made a winning start over hurdles at Newton Abbot the following day.
Ballysax Hank and Dignam are trained by Gavin Cromwell and Joseph O'Brien respectively and Willie Mullins is responsible for getting Mummy Derry back on track after she finished last of five in the Grade 2 Jane Seymour Mares' Novices' Hurdle. Before that disappointment in February, the five-year-old was second in a Listed bumper at Navan.
The half-sister to two-time Grade 1 winner Spillane's Tower is reunited with Patrick Mullins for the first time since their win at Punchestown last October.
Worcester: course winners Scintillante and Sixty Plus back for more
Scintillante beat Sixty Plus at this track and trip last time and the pair return to the course to participate in the 2m handicap hurdle (2.55) and 2m4f novice handicap hurdle (4.42) respectively.
Sixty Plus boosted the form when bolting up to win at a canter here last Thursday and bids to defy a 7lb penalty. Scintillante was declared at Market Rasen last Saturday but was a non-runner due to unsuitable ground.
The Alastair Ralph-trained five-year-old is on a 2lb higher mark than he would have run off at the weekend after a further hike in the handicap on Tuesday following an initial 8lb rise. Form figures of 3121 at Worcester in 2025 offer encouragement that he can defy a career-high mark of 107.
Ralph said: "He's been in good form and seems to be improving. I think this season we've found the key to him.
"We took him out at Market Rasen because of the rain. He's a better horse on better ground. He's on the upgrade and hopefully there's more to come."
Worcester stat: Richard Newland and Jamie Insole
Two of Richard Newland's three runners have won the feature 2m7f handicap chase (1.45) and he and Jamie Insole are represented by 2023 winner Tiger Orchid and Scarlet O'Tara.
