Aintree bumper second makes hurdling debut and talented fillies clash in Goodwood Listed event
Punting pointers from some of today's race meetings . . .

Doncaster: eyecatching Haggas maiden
Archivist had some eyecatching juvenile form for Sir Michael Stoute and he bids to get off the mark at the sixth attempt in the 1m2f maiden (5.45) after finishing second on his first start for William Haggas last month.
The Cheveley Park Stud-owned three-year-old chased home subsequent Group 3 winner Starzintheireyes at Leicester in September before finishing runner-up to Smoken, who followed up in Listed company on her next outing.
Archivist bumped into Secret Theory, who puts his unbeaten record on the line earlier in the day at Goodwood (2.00), on his reappearance and the step up in trip here may bring about some improvement.
Mister Rizz looks the likely favourite's main rival as the Ed Walker-trained colt was beaten only three-quarters of a length by Fifth Column on his debut at Kempton, and the winner made a successful handicap debut off a mark of 86 on his next start.
Goodwood: fillies clash in Listed feature
The Listed racingclub.com Conqueror Fillies' Stakes (2.00) is the main event on Goodwood's card and Chic Colombine is an interesting contender given she was successful on her only previous start here.
The George Boughey-trained four-year-old was seventh on her comeback in the Doncaster Mile, but that Listed race is already working out well with the winner Dancing Gemini following up in the Group 2 bet365 Mile.
Chic Colombine's stablemate Soprano beat Crimson Advocate by a nose in the Snowdrop Fillies' Stakes on what was the latter's first start over a mile. The 2023 Queen Mary winner was nearly three lengths clear of the reopposing Muddy Mooy at Kempton and bids to confirm the form on only her third start for John and Thady Gosden.
Sirona has to give upwards of 3lb to her eight rivals, but her second-placed effort to three-time Group 3 winner Alcantor at Saint-Cloud in October looks the standout form.
Hexham: hurdling newcomer to note
Destination Dubai looks a shrewd purchase on the basis of his two runs since joining David Killahena and Graeme McPherson
Bill Hawkins opted to sell the six-year-old after he won a Hereford bumper for Alastair Ralph in November and Destination Dubai defied odds of 20-1 to make a successful stable debut for Killahena and McPherson at Warwick in March.
The son of Sandmason was second in the Grade 2 Aintree bumper on Grand National day when ridden by Kielan Woods for the first time and the jockey is back on board for his hurdling debut in the 2m maiden (5.00).

McPherson said: "We're looking forward to getting him over hurdles. He had three point-to-point runs and has been in good form since Aintree. There's good to soft ground at Hexham and that's why we're going there.
"We'll get the weekend out of the way first, but I suspect we'll have this run and then likely go on a summer break."
Hexham stat: rare runner for Henderson
Nicky Henderson may not have sent a runner to Hexham since the 2021-22 season but he has a smart 41 per cent course strike-rate and makes a belated return to the venue with First Street, who lines up in the 2m4f novice handicap chase (5.35).
Uttoxeter: £35,000 feature attracts competitive line-up
The feature 3m handicap chase (5.55) looks an incredibly competitive affair as all but two of the 15 runners won at least one race last season.
Connections have understandably been attracted by the £35,000 prize pot and the line-up includes the likes of two-time Grimthorpe Chase winner Moroder, Rowland Meyrick star Some Scope and dual Edinburgh National scorer Magna Sam.
Topweight Idas Boy makes his third appearance for Richard Phillips after running in the Grand National last time, while last week's Perth winner Coco Mademoiselle could have been going for a hat-trick had she not unseated Harry Skelton when travelling well at Cheltenham last month.
Coco Mademoiselle's owner Garry Wilson and trainer Dan Skelton are also represented by Theformismighty.
Guard Your Dreams runs off the same mark as his last success, which came at Warwick in October, and he bids to provide Nigel and Willy Twiston-Davies with success with their first runner on a dual licence.
Uttoxeter stat: profit maker
A £1 stake on all 28 of Sean Bowen's rides for Sarah Humphrey would have netted a profit of £27.33. The champion jockey seeks to partner his eighth winner for the trainer on Another Mystery in the 3m handicap chase (7.00).
